The Mark Jewellers Story...

The Mark Jewellers story began nearly fifty years ago. At that time Mark Doolittle got his first job as a jeweler in a small Downtown La Crosse jewelry store. It wasn't long before he decided to open his own shop on the North side of La Crosse. In the spring of 1962 Mark Jewellers opened its doors in Old Towne North.

Specializing in watch repair and quality jewelry sales and repair Mark Jewellers built a reputation that has sustained the business through generations. Now two of Mark's children have taken on the responsibility of upholding the high standards their father has set for the business.

Over the years there have been changes. From 1984 until 2004 Mark Jewellers had a successful second store location in Shelby Mall on the Southside of La Crosse. As times change the decision was made in 2004 to close the Shelby Mall store in order to open a larger location in the ever growing Onalaska Mall Area. The new store is thriving in Onalaska.

Today you can shop at two unique store locations. Both stores provide a relaxing and fun shopping experience. Customers are encouraged to touch and try on the jewelry, even build wish lists for future occasions. Not only can you purchase high quality jewelry and time pieces at Mark Jewellers, you can also have nearly any jewelry or watch repairs done by our in-house goldsmiths and watchmakers.

Though the Mark Jewellers story is nearly fifty years old it is just beginning. With each anniversary, engagement or graduation the story grows and with each year it changes. Please visit us often to be part of the story.
